Unraveling relevant factors for effective on farm demonstration: the crucial role of relevance for participants and structural set up

Purpose The paper focuses on exploring the influence of structural and functional characteristics demonstrations their effectiveness.Design/Methodology In framework AgriDemo-F2F project, we analysed responses to 345 post-demonstration questionnaires filled out by attendees 31 demo events held in 12 EU countries. Factor analysis was employed a subsequent step linear regression predict general effectiveness.Findings Results indicate that very first steps organisation on-farm demonstration are critical importance for successful delivery objectives, particularly decisions relating relevance farmers’ needs structure event.
